YAP conducts workshops and mediations all over the world, working towards peace by changing the ‘war’ and ‘violence’ mentality which is so often used as a reaction to conflict. YAP is voluntary in nature and uses training, networking and action to build a culture of peace in communities.
YAP is a grass-roots program which equips communities to resolve their own conflicts and therefore work towards a peaceful future together. Joy Balazo, Secretary of YAP, is intimately involved in each step of the YAP peace process.
